On October 26, the first China Baowu Supplier Conference and Green Smart Supply Chain Forum was held in the Golden Stove·Steel Expo Center with the theme of "Green, Smart, Innovation, Sharing, and Sharing Together to Create a New Ecology of Industrial Product Supply Chain". 50 of the more than 7,000 partners were selected, aiming to further gather, thank, and inspire outstanding partners who have made contributions to the management and construction of Baowu in China.

China Baowu Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as China Baowu) was formed by the joint reorganization of the original Baosteel Group Co., Ltd. and Wuhan Iron and Steel (Group) Company, and was inaugurated and established on December 1, 2016. In 2020, China's Baowu crude steel production exceeded 115 million tons, ranking first in the world and ranking 72 in the 2021 Fortune Global 500 list. In January 2021, China Baowu took the lead in issuing a carbon emission reduction declaration in the steel industry: strive to achieve carbon peaks in 2023, and strive to achieve carbon neutrality in 2050.
